inDrive Safety in Pakistan: What Community Reports Show

SafeSide Team·August 9, 2026·2 min read

inDrive is one of the five ride-hailing platforms you can search and report on SafeSide, alongside Yango, ShareRide, Bykea, and Other. You can check any inDrive driver by plate number before you get in, read the reports riders have filed, and file your own if something goes wrong. The current numbers from those reports are published live on the Safety Report page.

What the community reports

Every report is filed against one or more fixed categories, so records stay comparable. They cover unwanted comments about your appearance or personal life, requests for contact after being declined, inappropriate content in the car, route deviations, refusing to end the ride, off-app charges, being followed after drop-off, unwanted physical contact, threatening language, and other.

SafeSide does not rank platforms against each other. Each driver keeps their own record, and the Safety Report page shows the aggregates for anyone who wants the full picture.

How a report becomes a record

Reports are reviewed before they are published. A driver's profile then carries a verification level: low for a single report matched on the plate, medium when two or more independent reporters file or when one report includes evidence, and high when three or more independent reporters match on the plate plus another identifier on separate days.

How to check an inDrive driver

Search the plate number (for example LEB-1234), the driver name, or the last 4 digits of the phone number at safeside.live/search. You will see the risk tier, the report count, and the published reports. The step-by-step method is covered in How to Check a Ride-Hailing Driver by Plate Number in Pakistan.

If something goes wrong

File a report at /report/new with the inDrive driver's plate and what happened. Reports are anonymous: your name and phone number are never published.

Common questions

Is inDrive safe in Pakistan?

It depends on the driver, not the app. Check the driver's profile on SafeSide before you ride, and treat an empty profile as unknown rather than a clean record.

Does SafeSide track how often each platform appears?

Platforms are recorded per report, and the Safety Report page publishes what the community has submitted.

Can I report an inDrive driver without the plate?

The plate is required for a report. If you have the driver name or phone last 4 digits, search for the matching profile first.
