How to Check a Ride-Hailing Driver by Plate Number in Pakistan (Step-by-Step)

SafeSide Team·August 9, 2026·2 min read

You can check a ride-hailing driver by plate number in Pakistan before you get in the car. Go to the SafeSide search page, type the plate, for example LEB-1234, and you will see the driver's risk tier, report count, and any published safety reports. No account needed, nothing to pay, and the whole check takes about a minute.

How to check a driver by plate number

The search box takes a plate number, a driver name, or the last 4 digits of a phone number. Plates are matched loosely: spaces and dashes are ignored, so LEB-1234, leb1234, and LEB 1234 all find the same driver.

  1. Open safeside.live/search.
  2. Type the full plate number, for example LEB-1234.
  3. Pick the matching driver from the results.
  4. Read the risk tier, report count, and report details.

What the risk tiers mean

Every driver profile carries one of four risk tiers, recalculated automatically as new reports come in.

Risk tierWhat it means
No ReportsNo rider has filed a published report about this driver yet.
InformationalOne report exists. It could be minor or serious, so read the details.
CautionSeveral reports have been filed, or one report was flagged as concerning.
Elevated CautionSerious reports exist. SafeSide recommends avoiding this driver when you can.

The tier system is explained in full in Understanding Our Risk Tier System.

What a clean profile does and doesn't mean

A driver with no reports shows "No Reports". That is not a guarantee of a safe ride. It only means no rider has filed a report about that driver yet. Treat an empty profile as unknown, not as a clean record.

Reports are reviewed before they appear on a profile. SafeSide publishes only reports that pass its verification process, which is why the record is described as community-verified.

Report a bad experience

If a ride goes wrong, file a report with the plate number and what happened. Reports are anonymous: SafeSide never publishes your name, phone number, or any information that could identify you, not to the public and not to the driver.

Every verified report is added to the driver's profile and to the public Safety Report page, so the next rider sees what you learned the hard way.

Common questions

Is SafeSide free?

Yes. Searching a plate, reading reports, and filing a report are all free, and you do not need an account.

Can I search a driver by name or phone?

Yes. The same search box accepts a driver name or the last 4 digits of a phone number.

What if I only remember part of the plate?

Partial matches work. Type what you remember and pick the closest driver from the results.

Can the driver see who reported them?

No. Reports are anonymous. SafeSide does not publish your name, phone number, or any information that could identify you.
