What is SafeSide?
SafeSide is a community reporting platform where riders in Pakistan can check ride-hailing drivers by number plate before getting into a car, and submit factual accounts of troubling experiences so other women can stay safer.
How do I check a driver before my ride?
Enter the driver's vehicle number plate (for example LEA1234) in the search box. SafeSide shows the published community reports, report activity, and report counts for that driver.
Is my report anonymous?
Your name, phone number, and anything that could identify you are never published. Not to the public, not to the driver, and not to anyone else. You never need to create an account to report.
How are reports reviewed?
Every report is read by our moderation team before publication. Reports are shared as the reporter's own account of what they experienced. Drivers can also submit corrections through a formal dispute process.
Is SafeSide free to use?
Yes. Searching for drivers and submitting safety reports on SafeSide is completely free.
